Laia Dans

Laia is a native of Barcelona (Spain). She is founder of Puppet’s Revenge (Taos 2001) and founder of Puig & Xinel.lis Teatret (Barcelona 1980) Writing/building, directing/performing their plays.

Certified Dreamworker from Pacifica Institute (CA 2004).

Former professor at the University of Barcelona. She taught “Drama & Dreams: Symbolic Languages” for more than 20 years (1978-2000)

Founder of “Interior Gamma Creativity Studio” where she gave workshops in Dreams and Drama and Psychomotricity. Barcelona 1991-1994

She has given Dreamworkshops in different settings: prisons (BCN, NM) Mental Health Centers (NYC), Special needs children (BCN) Hispanic Women (NM).

She has travelled with Puppet’s Revenge throughout USA, Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Senegal and Mali performing in small villages as well as in International Puppet Festivals

Ron Dans

Ron Dans

New York – Santa Fe, Ron had a 32-year career in technology, business and serial entrepreneurship.

In 2001 he and Laia Obregon created their puppet company, Puppets Revenge. They craft entirely original plays as well as teaching play creation. Recently they founded a much needed community space for performers called the Eldorado Soirees.

They also co-created their children’s program, Let’s Play, a space where children can be themselves holistically, relating to time, to space, to objects and to others through their bodies. It is based on Piaget’s and Winnicott’s ideas about play and stages of development.

He carries forward into their non-profit, Dreams, Drama Drums, all his organizational, marketing, planning, and development skills learned during his business career.

He is a musician, playing marimba, drums, accordion, mBira, flute, guitar and keyboards.
